A Fashionably Late November Wrap-Up

hiiiiiiii, helloo and welcome! November was admittedly a pretty weird month for me ~ the beginning of it being average, the middle being kinda bad but the end being pretty great! So anyways without further ado let’s see whether I actually did anything this month. P.S .I added movies and music to this wrap up as well otherwise with just books it would be pathetically short.

1.City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

Amazon.com: City of Ashes (2) (The Mortal Instruments): 9781481455978: Clare, Cassandra: Books

I’ve heard around the internet that this is the worst book of the series and… it wasn’t too bad? I thought the beginning was actually really interesting! I still hated Jace though, at least Clary was a bit more bearable. Overall the book was very average, but I did enjoy reading it so I guess that’s what counts.

Rating-✨✨✨✨

2. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

Amazon.com: City of Glass (3) (The Mortal Instruments): 9781481455985: Clare, Cassandra: Books

UHM THIS WAS AMAZING. It was such a great book, the battle scenes were action packed and I loved the characters! This did remind me a lot of the deathly hallows, and the mortal instruments is said to be greatly *inspired* by Harry Potter, so um yea. But it’s okay cause I loved it *thumbs up*

3. Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

Radio Silence eBook by Alice Oseman - 9780062335739 | Rakuten Kobo Singapore

This was fantastic. It completely lived up to the hype and I’m so glad that I wasn’t disappointed by it. I had previously read Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper series (all through webtoon, so i don’t know if the physical versions are any different) and I thought it was pretty cute! But this blew my expectations out of the water. It is for sure on my favourite books of the year.

Rating- ✨✨✨✨✨

4.Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare

As you can see, this month was predominately dominated by Cassandra Clare and school work. Either ways I adored it, and the characters were so lovable! You can read more of my thoughts about it here.

Rating-✨✨✨✨.5

So I only read four books this month, which is very less ,so that’s unfortunate 😦 but to be fair I did do a lot of other things (no not really) so let’s get onto thattt

I WATCHED 5 MOVIES IN ONE WEEKEND. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. I HAD AN EXAM AFTER THAT TOO. HaH in yOur facE eXams. This is one of my biggest accomplishments ever, and from this fact you can tell that I don’t exactly have high hopes for life.

So i went on a marvel rush that weekend and watched four marvel movies! I re-watched Endgame and Infinity war, both of which were epic and heartbreaking of course , and I also watched age of ultron and civil war! Age of Ultron wasn’t the best movie ever especially after watching the masterpieces which were endgame and infinity war. At least Civil war was good? eh it was average, but the fight scenes were perfect. I also watched Ghostbusters: afterlife with my friends, and I enjoyed it quite a bit! Although It did reminded me a lot of Goosebumps 2. ALso how did I not know that Mckenna Grace was in this movie? what even?? the magics of hair dye I guess.

aNd that’s mainly all the movies I watched. Onto the next segment of the showw..

Top artists of the month ~

Most of these artists I did expect to be on here, I’ve been obsessed with Melodrama as always, and sweetener has been on repeat as well. also taylor has to be here because of the heartbreak that is known as all too well.

My top tracks ~

voiLa✨

Oohh also my spotify wrapped up came in and my most listened artist was Lorde(dUh) and most played song was Non – Stop.

Well, I guess that’s it for this post! Thanks for sticking around and reading hope you enjoyed!

  1. Yay enjoy your Cassie Clare phase – mine got over way too fast in January this year ahaha. I LOVE the mortal instruments but, yeah, it’s very similar to Harry potter. Also I hope you enjoyed all the marvel movies, too!

  2. Wait,,, the mortal instruments are inspired by HP??? I had no idea! I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not (ahem, based on to what degree exactly it is inspired) but it definitely makes me very curious. And also, 4 books in a month is GOOD, okay? Ahhh, I’m so glad you enjoyed radio silence, I really need to read alice oseman books! 5 movies in a weekend is definitely impressive (and, ha, the “in yOur facE eXams” LOVE IT!) I loved reading this so much!! Hope you’re having a great December so far! ❤️❤️

    1. I literally had no clue too, until I read the third book! After that I did some research, and it turns that the mortal Instruments initially started out as a harry potter fanfiction 😳 , I was immensely surprised haha. I think it’s leaning a bit more to the plagiarism side though, because a lot of the battle scenes and dialogue seemed exactly the same to Harry Potter. AAHH THANK YOU LOL I’VE BARELY BEEN READING NOWADAYS AND THIS MAKES ME HAPPY. YESS GO READ IT. It WAS AMAZING!! those stupid exams deserve it hehe😌 Thanks so much Anoushka, I really appreciate it!!💗✨✨Wishing you very jolly December and a merry Christmas as well!!

  3. Wow this was such a fun post to read! I thought the mortal instruments wasn’t really a great series, but the infernal devices were much better. Hope you enjoy both of them! and wow that is a lot of marvel movies 😂 which one is your favourite? Mine would have to be endgame for sure!
