20 Questions Book Tag

Hi,hello and welcome!(or welcome back) Today I’m doing the 20 questions book tag! I initially found this on tag on the blog paperfury. I haven’t done a tag on this blog yet so I thought it would be really fun to do!(I had actually planned to do a book review but i was too lazy shhh don’t tell anyone¯\_(ツ)_/¯) So without further ado lets go

1. HOW MANY BOOKS ARE TOO MANY FOR A SERIES?

Above five. Sometimes more than five books works out well for a series(eg- Harry Potter) but it usually just gets too draining. The later books start to lose any sense of a coherent plotline and it just gets so boring ಠ_ಠ But also sometimes too few books in a series also just leaves me hanging like- i want moreee. So really I guess this is based on a personal preference and the structure of the series.

2. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CLIFFHANGERS?

I cry and cry and cryyyyy. I Hate and love cliffhangers. They make me suffer so much but also makes me want to read the next book IMMEDIATELY.

3.HARDCOVER OR PAPERBACK?

hmmm i’m going to have to say HARDBACKS!!! They just look so nice on the shelf and you may also get a really nice design underneath the dust jacket aaahhhh. But paperbacks are definitely more convenient.

4. FAVOURITE BOOK?

HOW DOES ONE CHOOSE A FAVOURITE BOOK?!?!?!??!?Like seriously I simply cannot choose just one book! I actually have a post on my favourite books which you can check out here. But if i had to choose just a few they would probably be- Six of crows, Aristotle and Dante, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians( This list goes on and on and on..)

5. LEAST FAVOURITE BOOK?

uh, uhhhh… I haven’t really read a book that i HAtE so I really don’t have anything specific for this prompt but maybe the fault in our stars??( Don’t kill me please) This was kinda overhyped and i was pretty underwhelmed by this book (。_。) Still it isn’t necessarily a terrible book but it just wasn’t for me.

6. LOVE TRIANGLES, YES OR NO?

YES LOL. I just like seeing the main character struggle over who to choose( hah I’m cruel)and I also like seeing the love interests argue over stupid things-its just so funny . Obviously it gets tiresome after seeing it in loads of books, but I still do enjoy love triangles.

7. THE MOST RECENT BOOK YOU COULDN’T FINISH?

The poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. This wasn’t a bad book at all, in fact i was enjoying it quite a bit. I just wasn’t in the right place to read this. It handles some important topics which I wasn’t just ready to read about yet. I’m definitely going to pick this up later though. (。・ω・。)

 8. A BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?

Paper towns by John Green! I’m enjoying this a lot so far.

9. LAST BOOK YOU RECOMMENDED TO SOMEONE?

Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone! aahh i love this book so much! GO READ IT NOW!!!(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

10. OLDEST BOOK YOU’VE READ BY PUBLICATION DATE?

oohh this is a difficult one! I think I’d have to go with one of the classics i read a long time ago. I don’t read many classics nowadays lol. Maybe Oliver Twist could work for this one?

11. NEWEST BOOK YOU’VE READ BY PUBLICATION DATE?

uh secret about me – I’m always behind the new releases 🙊 I don’t think I’ve read any book published in 2021(✨s h a m e✨) but the most recent book I’ve read would be “A sky against the storm- By Sabaa Tahir”

12. FAVOURITE AUTHOR?

ooohh my favourites would probably be- Morgan Matson, Marie Lu and Rick Riordan!

13. BUYING BOOKS OR BORROWING BOOKS?

Borrowing definitely! Even I do end up buying a lot of books . Its really nice to have a personal collection at home but honestly i don’t end up reading a lot of them. From libraries i can read whatever i want whenever i want – yay libraries *throws confetti* plus libraries are free, books are not.（︶^︶）

14. A BOOK YOU DISLIKE THAT EVERYONE SEEMS TO LOVE?

my brain seems to have stopped working cause i can’t think of ANYTHING. I think maybe the selection series? But i still haven’t read the whole series so my opinion could definitely change.

15. BOOKMARKS OR DOG EARS?

BOOKMARKSSS ALL THE WAYYY.

16. A BOOK YOU CAN ALWAYS RE-READ?

The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan and The night diary by Veera Hiranandani

17. CAN YOU READ WHILE LISTENING TO MUSIC?

nooooo ahhhahah. I usually just forget about reading and end up singing and dancing to the music.(✿◡‿◡)

18. ONE POV OR MULTIPLE?

Multiple! I used to love single POV books but i feel in fantasy books especially, a multi perspective view works so well! i love reading from different character’s sides and it just adds so much depth into the story!

19. DO YOU READ A BOOK IN ONE SITTING OR OVER MULTIPLE DAYS?

Multiple days. I used to easily read books in a day but now because of ScHOOl i really don’t have time /(ㄒoㄒ)/ In a way its kind of better because I have more time to really absorb in the story but I still miss having free time.(i’m being overdramatic here i still have free time lol..i think)

20. WHO DO YOU TAG?
